A mashup of DaVinci/Renaissance art with contemporary times; the title is a direct reference to the song by punk band Bad Religion, and the subject matter is a cynical view of our current cultural situation. I deliberately over-exaggerated the hunch of the skeleton's, and particularly the baby's, shoulders. "Text Neck" is an actual physical symptom that doctors are seeing happening today, so I am suggesting that it may become an evolutionary change to our bodies in a short time. For a 2022 juried exhibition with the Langley Arts Council, at which this painting was awarded 2nd place in show, I made a custom frame for the work (not photographed).
